Since 1995, Quality Building Services has helped facilities manage their maintenance, housekeeping and construction tasks with efficiency, affordability and reliability. Under the direction of James McAndrew, president, QBS has been serving clients in the financial, education, government and small business sectors for more than 20 years.

QBS President James “Red” McAndrew has over 35 years experience in facility management. Before starting QBS, Mr. McAndrew was director of engineering and facility maintenance at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. He supervised a staff of 60 workers and oversaw $3.5 million in annual expenditures. Today, Mr. McAndrew stays active in the profession as a course instructor on facility management at Marywood University, Scranton, Pa., and at numerous seminars throughout the region.
